HRE Wheels : SEMA Feature
Las Vegas, NV SEMA 2012
Round 2 of our feature series from SEMA we bring to you HRE Wheels! HRE came out swinging this year with booth placement right next to the massive Ford Motor Company display.
The HRE booth was filled with people checking out their up and coming offering for 2013. Upon arrival, you could not miss the gorgeous Lamborghini Aventador sitting up front on a fresh set of custom HREs. We met up with HRE President Alan to discuss whats coming up for 2013. Including with the lineup is the new flow-form cast wheels and the Ring Brothers/HRE line. We aren’t strangers to HRE as they were very accommodating in giving us a tour of their factory back in 2011. We would like to thank Alan and his team again for making time for us at SEMA. Check out the pics and video, and keep an eye out for HRE this year, you wont be disappointed!

Boardwalk Fall Concorso by Mike M. Photos
Before we took off for the 2012 SEMA show, our friend Mike M. in Dallas was about to attend the Boardwalk Fall Concorso. We previously posted the summer Concorso and as you may recall it is pretty epic. The show itself is at the Board Ferrari & Maserati dealership and is packed full of exotic and luxury goodness. Thanks again to Mike M. for providing the shots and we hope you enjoy!
2012 SEMA Coverage
Irwindale Speedway - Formula D
This weekend was a busy weekend in Houston and was just as busy for our friends over on the West Coast. mediaJunkies was able to cover Formula D this weekend, which many of you are familiar with. All weekend long I saw pictures from Formula D streaming the social media pages, it was a great sight to see so many people enthusiastic about motoring. Anyways, below you find shots from day 1 of mediaJunkies coverage.

It has been an automotive packed weekend. Gillman Subaru Meet, CCM and Niftee 50ees was Saturday and then today (Sunday) was the Project Generation Meet/Cruise. We started our day off a bit startled when we arrived to the meeting location and not a car was to be found, then again we were about 30 minutes early. Around 9am the cars started to roll in. It was a decent size meet and a perfect sized cruised, even though there was a quick little shower from the car-hatin’ gods. We took off West down I10 then hit a bunch of decent twists and turns all the way back up to Brenham where we had food and fattening treats. We are definitely looking forward to the next event!
Gillman Subaru Meet
The crappy typical Houston hot weather struck again, but it did not hold back Gillman Subaru from putting on another awesome meet. The Gillman Subaru meet happens annually and every time it is a solid event. No doubt it is one of the smaller events, due to the size of the parking lot space, but it is hands down a very solid show with greater number of respectable vehicles.
October Dallas Cars and Coffee
The cooler weather has finally arrived! It is now October and our friend Mike M. was able to attend a small yet nice Cars and Coffee event in Dallas. For those of you who do not know, the Dallas Cars and Coffee is held in Plano, TX at Classic BMW. It was a smaller event due to the 50% chance of rain, but never the less it was still a great turnout of magnificent machines - and cooler weather!
The show you all know and love hit Texas once again. Last year was Dallas, this year it was Austin. It was a great time had by all, we rolled out with our friends at 16Niss and enjoyed a nice cruise from Houston to Austin early Sunday morning. We stopped at a local lounge for brunch then hit the show. No need to really explain it all, you all know what Wekfest is. So enjoy the pics and until next time, stay tuned!
FIA WTCC at Sonoma
While we were out the West Coast we were able to snatch up a couple of tickets to the Fia World Touring Car Championship in Sonoma. What a lucky coincidence to head out to The Bay the same time as WTCC was going on! If you are not familiar with Sonoma, it is located in the valley of Sonoma, in California, mid way between San Francisco and Sacramento. This beautiful track (previously known as Sears Point) was built in 1968 and fully renovated in 1998. The FIA WTCC visited it for the first time ever, lucky us again!
